Cloud engineering and migration

Infrastructure on AWS, Google Cloud and Azure that grows with demand and survives a bad day.

Cloud bills and outages usually trace back to decisions made in a hurry. We plan what should run where across AWS, Google Cloud and Azure, move it in stages so the business stays online, and leave you with infrastructure your own team can operate: containers on Kubernetes or serverless functions, secured, backed up and documented.

What we take on

Cloud planning and relocation
Multi-cloud strategy and migration: a plan for what runs where, and a staged move that keeps the business online throughout.
Event-driven, pay-per-use systems
Serverless architecture design that costs little when idle and absorbs sudden traffic.
Kubernetes clusters your team can run
Container orchestration with deployments and autoscaling set up so your own engineers can operate them.
Access control and audit readiness
Cloud security and compliance: permissions, encryption and audit trails aligned with the standards your customers ask about.
Backup and failover drills
Disaster recovery planning with backups, failover and written runbooks, and recovery steps that have been rehearsed.

A good fit when

Questions we are asked

Which cloud provider should we use?

It depends on the workload, the services you already pay for and where your users are. We work on AWS, Google Cloud and Azure and recommend one, or a mix, with the reasons written down.

Will there be downtime during migration?

We plan migrations in stages with a tested way back at each one, so the business stays online. Where a short cut-over is unavoidable, it is scheduled with you in advance.

Do we need Kubernetes?

Not always. Kubernetes earns its place when you run many services that scale independently. For smaller systems, serverless functions or a few managed containers are simpler and cheaper to run.
